Selenite (what we call 'true selenite'), the rose like form of Gypsum var. Desert Rose (what we call Desert Rose Selenite), and the fibrous form of Gypsum var. Satin Spar (what we call Satin Spar Selenite). All forms of Gypsum can be used for cleansing.

Selenite, sometimes also called satin spar, is a variety of gypsum that tends to grow either in long fibrous or flat plate-like crystals, which can result in opaque or translucent pieces. An extremely soft mineral, selenite will often contain small inclusions of other minerals or internal cleaving where different crystal shapes meet.
