These may look like normal black obsidian at first, but when viewed under bright lighting at certain angles the colors become visible. The colors present can be a mix of green, blue, orange, and/or purple.

Rainbow Obsidian is Black Obsidian that has an iridescent sheen when cut and polished. This iridescence is caused by the presence of tiny inclusions of Magnetite which reflect light in different directions. Due to this the colors may not be visible unless viewed in good lighting.

Rainbow Obsidian is said to allow you to see the light when you may be in a dark tunnel. It is said to bring love, happiness, and light into your life while reducing fear.
