This Moss Agate has been lovingly hand wrapped using the Micro Macrame art form, which creates designs using only various knots. Each piece begins as just a spool of cord and there is no glue holding the stones in place, it is 100% knot-work. The Moss Agate is paired with brass accent beads. It has been wrapped in earth brown cording with earth green cording used to create the leaves. Adjustable via a sliding knot in the back up to ~32".

Moss agate is a composite form of chalcedony, formed from primarily white or milky quartz with green inclusions of iron oxide and manganese oxide. These inclusions tend to form as dendritic or fractal branches that resemble moss, giving the stone its name.
