This Labradorite has been lovingly hand wrapped using the Micro-Macrame art form, which creates designs using only various knots. Each piece begins as just a spool of cord and there is no glue holding the stones in place, it is 100% knot-work. The Labradorite is paired with Labradorite, Rainbow Moonstone, and Stainless Steel accent beads. It has been wrapped in black cording. Adjustable via a sliding knot in the back up to ~33".

Labradorite is a feldspar and takes it's name from the Labrador region of Canada, where it was first discovered. The indigenous people to this area believed that this gem was the northern lights caught in stone. While not all labradorite has the signature flash known as labradorescence, it is considered a highly desirable feature and can appear in an entire rainbow of colors.
