Faden Quartz is one of my favorite crystals, a necessity in any healer's toolbox.
It is a tabular shaped self healed clear quartz.
At some point in the crystal's growth, it became fractured, but instead of continuing to grow as two separate quartz crystals, it self-healed the fracture. This healing left the crystal equivalent of a scar, seen as a visible white line or thread in the crystal. It's name comes from this thread, as Faden is the German word for thread.
This
self healing ability makes it the perfect stone for healing of all sorts, encouraging the fragmented soul parts, traumas, or other situations to reintegrate and heal. It is excellent for helping those working through the process of self-healing at any level, whether it be physical, emotional, mental, or spiritual.
Faden Quartz is also a powerful crystal to use in bridging gaps in connections, whether to another person (physically or spiritually) or to your own past life healing.
