A mala is a strand of beads (traditionally 108 with a larger Guru bead) used for keeping count and staying present during meditation. A mala can be used for meditation, worn as a necklace, or wrapped around your wrist several times. It is a tool for focusing your awareness and concentration during your meditation practice. It is said that if you wear your mala throughout the day, it serves as a constant reminder of your intentions.
This is a hand knotted 108 bead mala with a focus piece at the center featuring a raw Clear Quartz and blue and grey tassel with Aquamarine and Larvikite beads strung on blue cording. This mala features 8mm sized beads, which can be worn long or double wrapped around the neck.
Aquamarine is said to promote calmness, compassion, and inner truth. It is a stone of both intellectual intelligence and spiritual intelligence. It is also said to help promote tolerance and responsibility, while aiding in communication and bringing inner courage.
Larvikite is grounding and repels negativity. It stimulates psychic abilities such as having inner visions, past life recall, helping the transition from meditation, and seeing ourselves through the eyes of our higher self.
